Avoca Mohair Throw - Jade

Made from the hair of the Angora goat, this high-quality mohair is exceedingly warm and naturally durable and breathable. Angora goats were brought to the West in the mid-1800s, and since then mohair has been used for everything from blankets and scarves to train seats and cowboy's chaps. Using all-natural vegetable dyes and natural fibers, this brushed Mohair Throw was woven at Avoca mill in County Wicklow, Ireland, which has been manufacturing tweeds and blankets since 1723.
