Pruning shears good cut, however some poor design

Excellent cutting however I have two complaints about them. I have owned them for one week and they are already starting to show rust! This doesn't make sense to me. I do keep them outside but under an overhead roof, so they do not get wet. Also the small lever on the side (which you turn to make shears be opened or closed) is too difficult to maneuver. I have difficulty getting it to turn each time. Poor design for that component.

sturdy and comfortable, as advertised

I have already put these to use and am very glad I invested in them. It has been worth paying more to get a tool that does the job so effectively.
