Our Costa Nova stoneware combines artistic functional design with a commitment to being ecologically aware. Each piece features a nature-inspired matte glaze on the interior while retaining its unglazed underside. The subtle organic shapes of the ceramics evoke the curves and contours of nature. These distinctive details create a comforting artisanal aesthetic. This stoneware is fired at high temperatures (over 2,000°F), which makes it strong and not likely to chip or break. However, sudden shifts in temperature, such as taking the stoneware from a freezing refrigerator to a hot oven, can cause it to crack.
