Should have left the wires silver

When I first saw these earrings, I intended to return them. The metal overlay on the silver wires was too brassy and bright to look like gold, and they didn't seem like a good value for the price. But I let them sit for a while and ultimately tried them on, and they were surprisingly light, which was a nice discovery. I bought them, because willows have a special meaning to me, so I might wear them occasionally.
