I have a friend who can afford anything she wants, so she's difficult to buy for. As soon as I saw the Deruta Ceramic Wine Coaster, I knew it would be a lovely and useful addition to her table, and perfect for her birthday later this year. The dark blue also matches some of her dinnerware. This wine coaster can also be used for a small serving plate for shelled nuts, figs, or pomegranate seeds on a buffet. My friend does quite a bit of entertaining, so I'm certain she'll find several uses for this elegant item. Too, only a certain number of wine coolers are painted in this pattern, making it a collector's item. It came packed very well, and arrived only a week after I ordered it online.
